Hypothesis: Cosmological Self-Regeneration.
Part 01: Seldon’s
Hypotheses Series.

Karl Seldon.

this new such
series is posted below

In this 1st installment, Seldon describes the E.D. cosmological hypothesis that posits
an alternative to typical ‘eternal doom
/ “entropic doom” / “Big Rip”, etc. --‘linear extrapolationist’ -- prevailing hypotheses.
The JPG text images posted with this blog-entry provide extended background on the ‘Self-Resurging Big Surge’ or ‘Regenerist’ Cosmological Hypothesis that Seldon addresses in the discourse below, without fully re-stating that Hypothesis.
Seldon –
We hypothesize that the «arithmos»
of ‘spandetrons’, of our hypothetical units of “empty” space, at ~ the Planck scale – the generators
of what is presently named “Dark Energy” -- has been growing itself monotonically, albeit not at
a uniform rate, ever since our universe began.
However, at the very start, we hold, there was no «arithmos» of ‘spandetrons’ per se.
There was
only one, singleton ‘spandetron’, one «monad» of space, and nothing else manifest of all that came later, including
that which, today, we know about far more than we know about either “Dark Energy” or “Dark Matter”.
That
singleton ‘spandetron’ was all that was necessary to get our universe underway; the seed source of all else that we know, and that was to come.
Indeed, at
length, we see that it was the ultimate source of ourselves, of our genome, and also of our many, still unintegrated ‘phenomes’.
Such is the
power of the fruition of the uninterrupted ‘self-complexification’ that ensued
from and by that ultra-tiny seed.
So, per our hypothesis, that first ‘spandetron’ was the «monad»-ic «arché» of all else that later became in our cosmos.
By it and in it, space and time were born together.
The cosmos
as its own clock, as a clock for itself as a whole, begins with that first, singleton ‘spandetron’.
The expanded self-reproduction of these units of “empty”, “pure” SPACE, the ‘spandetrons’, driven by the incessant self-replication of every such ‘spandetron’ unit, starting with the first, in a self-replication which defines the essential nature of ‘spandetrons’, which, we hold, is the real explanation behind “Dark Energy” – including that initially “inflationary” self-proliferation of “pure” physical SPACE -- IS itself also “pure” TIME, TIME initially ‘‘‘empty’’’ of any other form of dynamical matter/energy – ‘‘‘empty’’’ of “Dark Matter” and of our familiar ‘Bright Matter’ as well.
TIME, at
first, is just the self-expansion of SPACE.
But this
cosmos-clock is not the ideal clock that we humans later conceive.
It is not
a cyclical clock.
It is, even
initially, a cumulative, progressing, ever-new clock.
It is the
monotonic self-expansion and ongoing self-transformation of the, initially “empty”
[of all except ‘spandetrons’], SPACE-COSMOS, and, later, of the ever
self-incrementing new ontologies that eventually become the self-progressing,
growing ontological content of that initially “empty SPACE” cosmos – again, originally
empty of all save the ‘spandetron-ic «monads»’.
This
whole-cosmos as clock is also deficient, relative to later human conceptions, because the rate of its expanded self-reproduction of space is not
constant.
That rate
of space self-expansion varies drastically across cosmological-scale
time, in a complex pattern, a pattern which forms the core of our ‘Self-Resurging Big Surge Hypothesis’ – of our ‘Regenerist Cosmological
Hypothesis’ -- a ‘Big Surge’ hypothesis which offers an alternative
to prevailing versions of “Big Bang” theory.
In summary,
then: Born first was anti-gravity -- the anti-gravity that is the inherently 'acceleratedly' self-expanding ‘spandetron expanse’.
Gravity
itself was born later – born second – in the
form, initially, of “Dark
Matter” only, with no electromagnetically active and reactive ‘Bright Matter’ at all, as yet, in that second epoch of cosmogenesis.
Gravity, in the form of “Dark Matter”, was born from the ‘excession’ of first-born anti-gravity itself, from a kind of ‘self-damage’.
That ‘self-damage’ accrued to parts of universal “Dark Energy” when the accelerated, hyper-explosive, “inflationary” self-expansion of “empty” space that IS “Dark Energy”/‘the spandetron expanse’ exceeded a limiting “velocity” of cosmos-expansion, albeit a “velocity” far in excess of the light-velocity limit, but a limiting velocity nonetheless.
When the expansion rate of the early, first epoch cosmos exceeded that limiting rate, vast “halos” and “arches” of ‘meta-spandetron’ units formed – “Dark Matter” units, each such unit made up out of a heterogeneous multiplicity of ‘spandetrons’ as its sub-units – sub-units, that, having damaged themselves, thereby lost their ability to self-replicate; ‘‘‘self-denatured’’’ ‘spandetron’ sub-units.
But these “Dark Matter” units, somehow, began
to attract one another, and to inhibit the rate of self-replication of those nearby/-surrounding
‘spandetron units’ still largely intact.
However,
the ongoing, ‘spandetron-ic’ expansion
of space, by the vast ‘expanse of spandetrons’ – the vast “empty” space -- still largely
intact, dilutes both “Dark
Matter” and
its later offspring, “Bright
Matter”,
but does not dilute itself.
The energy
density of each newly-added increment of ‘spandetron-ic’ “empty”
space manifests the same energy-density as every other equal volume of “empty”
space previously posited.
Thus, as
the cosmological energy-density of both “Dark Matter” and ‘Bright Matter’ wanes, the space-contractive effect of
their mutual gravitation, and of their inhibitory effect on the rate of ‘spandetron’ self-replication, also wanes.
Eventually, thus, the velocity of space-expansion -- slowed down to a crawl, for a while, by its “Dark Matter” creation, and, later, also by its ‘Bright Matter’ creation – begins to accelerate again, in a next “cosmological inflation”, to a next velocity-of-expansion ‘excession’, and thus to a next irruption of new free energy – of new “Dark Matter”, and, later, of new ‘Bright Matter’; another ‘Big Surge’, »repeating the earlier, “Big Bang” ‘Big Surge’, but on a much vaster scale, replenishing our universe’s ‘anti-entropy’/-free energy’, and restoring its “Dark Matter”/‘Bright Matter’ density, preventing any “Big Rip”, because also, by that very irruption of gravitating “Dark Matter”/‘Bright Matter’, re-restraining the velocity of expansion of the ‘spandetron expanse’; regenerating and, in a sense, rejuvenating our cosmos in the process.
Some of the incomplete features of this hypothesis, hardest to see how to complete, are –
1.
How can one imagine that, inside each of the “particle” units that are scaled
to deep inside of each of us – our quarks and our gluons, and even our electrons,
neutrinos, and photons meta-units – are meta^1-units of “Dark Matter”, and that, inside our meta^1-units
of “Dark Matter”, are meta^0-units of “Dark Energy”, of “empty” space itself?
2.
How -- by what mechanism(s) -- does “Dark Matter” generate gravitational attraction / curving of
space-time, i.e., four-dimensional curving of the ‘spandetron/time expanse’?
3. How -- by what mechanism(s) -- do the presences of “Dark Matter” and ‘Bright Matter’ inhibit the self-replication of “Dark Energy” – i.e., of ‘the spandetron expanse’?
4. By what mechanism does “Dark Matter” create ‘Bright Matter’ [“ordinary, light-/photons-interactive matter, potentially bright, even if not under all conditions actually bright”]?
5. By what mechanism(s) do ‘Bright Matter’ and “Dark Matter” induce, especially locally, the bending of space-time, i.e., do they recruit especially their nearby ‘spandetrons’ to “arch” and to form “arches” in four-dimensional space-time? This is also a problem for the General Theory of Relativity. Scandalously, albeit creating a scandal that is seldom mentioned, the General Theory of Relativity replaced the -- also scandalous -- Newtonian mystery of gravity’s purportedly instantaneous, invisibly-conveyed action at a distance, with another mystery, the mystery of bodies of mass-energy[-momentum-pressure] causing a non-Euclidean warping, especially nearby those bodies, of space-time, in proportion to those bodies’ [mass-]energy-density.
Our
research regarding these, and other, conundrums implied by our ‘Self-Resurging
Big Surge’ hypothesis, or ‘Regenerist’ cosmological hypothesis, is ongoing.
