It is my pleasure, and my honor, as an elected member of the Foundation Encyclopedia Dialectica [F.E.D.] General Council, and as a voting member of F.E.D., to share, with you, from time to time, as they are approved for public release by the F.E.D. General Council, key excerpts from the internal writings, and from the internal sayings, of our co-founder, Karl Seldon.

 

This 11th release of this new such series is posted below [Some E.D. standard edits have been applied, in the version presented below, by the editors of the F.E.D. Special Council for the Encyclopedia, to the direct transcript of our co-founder’s discourse].

 

 

 

Seldon –

The first, «arché» category[’s units, some of them] self-combine[s], then, next, the resulting, second, dialectical-antithesis category[’s units], [made up out of] the self-[hybrid units’,]combination(s) of the first category[’s units], combine[s] [some of its units] with [some of] the first category[’s units], yielding the third category[’s merely-hybrid, ] [as] dialectical-synthesis category[’s units].

 

 

[E.D. Editors: Separating the two levels – or ‘qualo-fractal scales’ – of the discourse above, the ‘«arithmos»-ic’ level from the «monad»-ic level, the ‘categoric’ from the ‘unitic’, we have:

 

1.  For the ‘Categoric’ Level –

The first, «arché» category self-combines, then, next, the resulting, second, dialectical-antithesis category, the ‘self-combination’ of the first category, combines with the first category, yielding the third category as dialectical-synthesis category.

 

2.  For the ‘Unitic’ Level –

The first, «arché»-category’s units -- some of them -- combine, then, next, the resulting, second, dialectical-antithesis-units’ category, made up out of the ‘self-hybrid’ combinations of the first category’s units, combines some of its units with some of the first category’s units, yielding the third category’s merely-hybrid, dialectical-synthesis-units.
