Seldon on Orthodoxies.

Dear Reader,

It is my pleasure, and my honor, as an elected member of the Foundation Encyclopedia Dialectica [F.E.D.] General Council, and as a voting member of F.E.D., to share, with you, from time to time, as they are approved for public release by the F.E.D. General Council, key quotes from Seldon’s discourses to Foundation audiences.

The statement posted below addresses the issue of orthodoxies, past and present.

Seldon –

“After the early Neolithic, and ever since, so far, throughout the entire ‘meta-epochal’ succession of class societies, and including throughout our present historical species of class society to-date, orthodoxies have been engineered and enforced, and dissenters sanctioned, because such orthodoxies serve the interests of the ruling classes, and ‘dis-serve’ the majority classes.”
