‘Three Key Elements of the Heuristic-Algorithmic Predictivity of Dialectical Models’ -- Part 11: ‘Seldon’s Soliloquies Series’.
It is my pleasure, and my honor, as an officer of the Foundation Encyclopedia Dialectica [F.E.D.] Office of Public Liaison, and as a voting member of F.E.D., to share, with you, from time to time, as they are approved for public release by the F.E.D. General Council, key excerpts from the internal writings, and from the internal sayings, of our co-founder, Karl Seldon.
This eleventh release in the present such series is posted below [Some E.D. standard edits have been applied, in the version presented below, by the editors of the F.E.D. Special Council for the Encyclopedia, to the direct transcript of our co-founder’s discourse].
In this 11th installment, Seldon outlines three key heuristic-algorithmic prediction principles of dialectics.
“...The heuristic predictive potential of dialectics consists of three key elements --
· Expectation of the ongoing, episodic irruption/emergence of new «arithmoi» of ontologically new kinds of units/«monads», cognizable via new «arché»-category ‘‘‘coinages’’’.
· “Expectation of the irruption/emergence of a new ‘contra-category’, cognizing a new kind of ‘contra-units’, where/once a new «arché»-category has been recognized.”
· “Expectation of the irruption/emergence of a new ‘uni-category’, cognizing a new kind of ‘combo-units’, where/once a new ‘contra-category’ of ‘contra-units’ has been recognized.”
NOTE: [by the E.D. Editors] The ‘dialectogram’ posted below provides an example of the third bulleted heuristic predictive “element” above, in that the existence of the units of the ‘«arché»-category’, as well as of those of the ‘first contra-category’, have long been recognized. No evidence of the existence of units of the final sub-species category of the ‘first uni-category’ species for this ‘dialectic of Nature’ are known to modern Science. This ‘dialectogram’ ventures the prediction-hypothesis that such units will become known in our somewhat distant future, thus eventually ‘completing the triad’ of the species of/for/within this dialectic.
