It is my pleasure, and my honor, as an elected member of the Foundation Encyclopedia Dialectica [F.E.D.] General Council, and as a voting member of F.E.D., to share, with you, from time to time, as they are approved for public release, by the F.E.D. General Council, key excerpts from the internal writings, and from the internal sayings, of our co-founder, Karl Seldon.

 

This tenth release in this new such series is posted below [Some E.D. standard edits have been applied, in the version presented below, by the editors of the F.E.D. Special Council for the Encyclopedia, to the direct transcript of our co-founder’s discourse].

 

In this 10th installment, Seldon describes the first two ‘ideo-ontos’ of the dialectic of the four main interpretations of the Seldonian First Arithmetic for Dialectic.

 

 

Seldon –

 

“. . . (1) The systematic-dialectical, synchronic [‘micro-diachronic] interpretation of an _NQ-arithmetical/algebraic, ‘v-adic’ [‘upsilon-adic’] ‘meta-model’, e.g., generically, for v = 2 –

 

-- yields a ‘dialectical taxonomy’[/high-level-ontological-categories’ encyclopedia], i.e., a systematic ontological-categorial classification/‘sortal snapshot’ of that meta-model’s Domain, with that Domain here generically/algebraically denoted by D.”  

 

“. . . (2) The historical-dialectical, [macro-]diachronic interpretation of an _NQ-arithmetical/algebraic, ‘v-adic’ [‘upsilon-adic’] ‘meta-model’, e.g., generically, for v = 2 –

 

-- yields a ‘dialectical meta-genealogy’ that is also an ontological chronology for its Domain, D.”

 

The two ‘dialectograms’ which follow illustrate the views stated above generically, but specific to the upsilon = 2 case, i.e., for the case of the ‘Dyadic self-reflexive function’, and up to the third stage/8^th ontological category per that ‘self-reflexive function’/‘self-involution function’.
