What Good is Genius?

In this 12th installment, Seldon asks the question “What Good is Genius?”, and
offers his answer.
Seldon –
“¿Of what human good is human genius, if it
does not serve – if it merely “shows off”?”
“¿If it does not serve to enrich the lives of others, and
to augment their ecstasy, their joy of life?”
“¿If it does not enhance the life-joy of other humans – of geniuses and non-geniuses
alike, or of those who have not yet discovered their own unique
genius, life- mission, life-purpose, life-gift, and life-meaning?”
“¿Of what human good is human genius if it is not a gift
that, of itself, gives of itself to others -- to humanity, and, even if in a seemingly miniscule, merely mesocosmic way, to our cosmos as a whole?”
