Hidden Inside Seldon’s
Arrow Ideogram.
Dear Reader,
¿What, in the NQ ‘axiomatic arithmetic for modeling dialectic’, is meant by the diachronic [historical-dialectical] arrow symbol, ‘®’, e.g., in the expression
‘x1 ® x2’?
The
expression means that, over a certain, unstated interval of time, ‘x1’ becomes ‘x2’, but it means
this in a very specific way.
The
NQ ‘arithmetic for modeling dialectic’ is a “purely-qualitative” – ‘purely-ontological-categorial’
– arithmetic, in which ‘quantitative ordinality and cardinality’ is present only
as subsumed and as «aufheben»-contained, at the subscript and superscript levels,
for the generic, minimally-interpreted, core version of this arithmetic.
Quantity
is not expressible at the script level in this arithmetic,
or in its algebra.
But the ‘®’ arrow has implicit quantitative connotations.
It stands for
the ‘Meta-Darwinian fitness’ manifestation of algebraically-expressed
ontological category x – i.e., for the expanded self-reproduction of the units or «monads»
of that category/«arithmos»,
to the point of a degree of population sizes and densifications, in certain physical-spatial
locales, of «monad»-ic ‘self-envelopments’, ‘self-environments’,
and ‘self-surroundments’, sufficient to induce ‘meta-finite resonance
singularities’, resulting in ‘self-hybrid’,
«aufheben» ‘self-meta-«monad»-izations’ and ontological revolutions, whereby local «arithmoi» of ‘meta-«monads»’,
generically, algebraically denoted by Dx, irrupt into existence, e.g., for the very first
time.
