Part 05:
Seldon’s Slogans Series.
My Take on Slogan 4.
GLOBAL STRATEGIC
HYPOTHESES.
Dear Reader,
It
is my pleasure,
and my honor, as an elected member
of the Foundation Encyclopedia
Dialectica [F.E.D.] General Council, and as a voting member of F.E.D., to share, with you, from time to time, as they are approved for public release by the F.E.D. General Council, key Encyclopedia Dialectica themes of Seldonian Theory.
The 4th text in
this new such
series is posted below
[Some E.D.
standard edits have been applied, in the version presented below, by the editors
of the F.E.D. Special Council for the Encyclopedia,
to the direct transcript of our co-founder’s
discourse].
Seldon’s Slogans, #4 --
“Combinatorics
Rules!”
M.D.:
My take on this slogan is as follows:
Nothing
comes to be but by combinatorics.
That
is, after the «arché-arithmos» of the total known universe, or of any of
its sub-universes or Domains, after its «arché-monads», which are the
first «monads» known, such that nothing earlier, nothing of their sub-«monads»
[if any] is [as yet] known, everything that arises, all new ontology, all later
units of being, and the ontological categories to which we assign them, arise by
combinations of earlier-arisen units, themselves also combinations of still-earlier-arisen
units.
The
surprising revelation of the above-stated ‘combinatorics rule’, is that it is not
the combinations of one unit-kind with a different, with an other,
unit-kind that is the key to the ontological progress of the total known
universe, and of its sub-universes and Domains.
It
is, on the contrary, ‘self-combinatorics’, the combinations of
multiplicities of units all of one given kind, whose combinations among
themselves, whose ‘auto-combinations’, give birth to new,
higher units, and thereby to the «arithmoi» of those units – which
we assign to distinct,
new ontological categories – that provide the wherewithal for the myriad, even
more multitudinous ‘allo-combinations’ that later arise from
these ‘auto-combinations’.
Thus,
“non-composite” fermions and bosons self-combine to form “composite” fermions
and bosons. Composite fermions [e.g.,
protons], bound by gluonic bosons, then combine with non-composite fermions
[e.g., electrons] to form atoms. Atoms self-combine
to form molecules. Molecules, mere mers,
self-combine to form molecular polymers….
Mega-polymers, mere polymers and mere mers then combine to form
prokaryotic living cells. Prokaryotic
living cells – becoming mitochondria and, for plant cells, chloroplasts – self-combine
to form eukaryotic single-cell living organisms. Eukaryotic living cells self-combine into
multi-eukaryotic-cellular organisms.
Asocial multi-eukaryotic-cellular organisms self-combine to form proto-language-based
social organisms. Social organism to
form human[oid]s-led ‘meta-societies’. … .
The
product-rule axioms of the Seldonian XQ arithmetics
for modeling dialectics, via the ‘auto-«aufheben»’ and ‘allo-«aufheben»’
combinatory “multiplication” rules implicit therein, for ontological category [self-]combinations,
and, implicitly, for the [self-]combinations of those categories’ units or «monads»,
provide a generic model of the universalities of the empirical, dialectical [self-]combinatorics
of «arithmoi» and, implicitly, of their constituent «monads».
The
Universal Combinatorics is that of the self-and-other-combinations of Domain D = "; that of the Dialectic of Nature as the content of
the maximal Totality so far known.
The
images posted above depict that Cosmos-Combinatorics.
