GLOBAL STRATEGIC HYPOTHESES.

Dear Reader,

Based upon the observed phenomena of so-called “Dark Energy” to-date – still only partially understood – together with Seldon’s ‘«aufheben» meta-monad-ization’ hypothesis of ‘The Dialectic of Nature’, withthat hypothesis carried backward to include the interconnections of “Dark Energy”, “Dark Matter” and “ordinary matter”, or ‘Bright Matter’, Karl Seldon has proposed a new hypothesis, that posits for the first time, a ‘Thermodynamic Self-Regeneration of Our Cosmos’.

The partially-known and partially-understood phenomena of “Dark Energy” may be summarized as follows –

Nature of units: not yet known;

Birth date: not yet known;

Size scale: not yet known;

Mass scale: not yet known;

Duration scale: indefinite;

Estimated percentage of total universe mass-energy density: » 68.3%;

Interaction modes: anti-gravity only?

What today’s cosmologists call “Dark Energy” is, at the time of this writing, the largely unknown and still very mysterious majority constituent of the energy density of our cosmos – seen by the consensus of the scientific community as constituting almost 70% of the consensus total.

It is believed to constitute an intrinsic, fundamental “energy of [“empty”] space itself”.

Its per-scientific-consensus key characteristic is that, with the expansion of physical space that it drives, it appears to maintain a constant energy density, that is, its energy density is not diluted as space expands, unlike the energy-density of all of the other main categories of the content of our cosmos per that consensus.

Instead, its energy density expands apace with the expansion of space, so that the “Dark Energy” density of each volume unit of space – new volume units and old volume units alike – remains always the same.

While the, still-prevailing, “Lambda (L) Cold Dark Matter” (LCDM) model of our total ¶known cosmos remains the consensus cosmological model, some recent observations indicate that the mass-energy density of “Dark Energy” may be slowly decreasing through cosmological time, may be varying through time in other, more complex ways, and/or across space, e.g., perhaps in the manner of a “scalar field” (as distinct from a “tensor field” or from a “vector field”).

With those summary particulars in mind, here is an overview of Seldon’s ‘Thermodynamic Self-Regeneration of Our Cosmos’ hypothesis.

1. Hypothesis: Units of the “Dark Energy” Category and “Cosmological Inflation”.

Consider the possibility that physical space is not “empty” or “void”, but is, instead, spanned as a self-expanding expanse of contiguous units that continually self-replicate, therefore expanding cosmological space at an accelerating rate. Let us call them ‘spandetrons’.

Each contiguous ‘spandetron’ ensemble, i.e., each physical space extent, quickly doubles in size, thereby expanding the 3-D extent of space.

Then, all of the resulting new as well as all of the old units of space double again, and so on.

This, ‘anti-gravity’ self-accelerating doubling, because it is as yet unimpeded by any “Dark Matter” or “Bright Matter” gravity – since neither “Dark Matter” nor “Bright Matter” as yet exist – creates the initial so-called “cosmological inflation”, not the, never-yet-observed, construct of the “dilaton particles” and the “dilaton field”.

Once the first ‘spandetron’ unit irrupts into existence, this doubling process begins.

But ‘spandetronic’, self-accelerating expansion of physical space too has a limiting velocity, albeit a velocity hugely in excess of the constant velocity, c, the speed limit for those ‘bright’ “wavicles” of the “Standard Model” known as “photons”.

2. Hypothesis: The Genesis of “Dark Matter” Units from “Dark Energy” Units. The spandetronic, self-accelerating expansion of physical space has a limiting velocity, because, beyond that limiting velocity, many of the extant spandetrons denature themselves, lose their capacity to self-replicate, to self-double, and become anti-anti-gravitic, opposite to their former, anti-gravitic, self-replicative nature.

Clouds of such ‘damaged-spandetron’, ‘contra-spandetron’ units form, such that each such ‘contra-spandetron’ unit, or “Dark Matter” unit, made up out of a multiplicity of former mere spandetron units.

These “Dark Matter” units, or ‘contracton units’, form gravitationally-bound structures, which no longer expand or space-replicate internally, and which also constrain the replication rate of the remaining, undamaged spandetrons/‘expandons’.

Our cosmos grows in and by means of this opposition between “Dark Energy” ‘expandon’ units and “Dark Matter” ‘contracton’ units.

3. Hypothesis: The Genesis of “Particle” Units from “Dark Matter” Units. We conjecture that, inside the cores of the contracton clouds or halos, “Standard Model” particle units are born, each a unifying physical combination of multiple contractons. We have, as yet, no hypothesis as to the mechanism of this unifying physical combination, but this conjecture back-fills the same kind of combinatory, ‘«aufheben» meta-monad-ic’ patterns seen in later arisings of new types of units, such as atom units and molecule units.

4. Hypothesis: Recurring Regenerations of Cosmological Thermodynamic Free Energy. If “Dark Energy” is at least somewhat like the way it is represented in the, prevailing, “Lambda (L) Cold Dark Matter” model of our cosmos, “LCDM” for short, then, as L is a constant in Einstein’s modified General Relativity Theory equations -- equations that so far best-model the cosmological gravitational field – then “Dark Energy” may add a constant energy density to the cosmos with every increment of its spandetrons’ space expansion: “Dark Energy” does not “dilute” itself as it expands physical space.

But “Matter” – both “Dark Matter” and ordinary, ‘Bright Matter’ alike – are ever-increasingly “diluted” by “Dark Energy’s” already now, again-accelerating space expansion.

Thus, Matters’ opposition to space expansion acceleration by “Dark Energy” is ever-weakening.

Some cosmologists extrapolate this to a future scenario of a “Big Rip”, wherein the space-time fabric is finally torn asunder by an eventual super-acceleration of “Dark Energy’s” space-expansion.

However, from our hypothesis 1., above, that the initial “cosmological inflation” was the work of “Dark Energy” unfettered by any presence of “Matter” – “Dark” or ‘Bright’ – it should be expected, on the contrary, that this dilution of “Matter” will eventually, far in the future, bring about a similar, if somewhat weaker, ‘second cosmological inflation’ event.

Thereby, new clouds of such acceleration-self-damaged ‘multi-spandetrons’, i.e., fresh ”Dark Matter” ‘contractons’, per our hypothesis 2., will then flood our cosmos, thereafter re-restraining/re-decelerating spatial expansion, and giving birth to a fresh increment of ‘Bright Matter’ as well, per our hypothesis 3.

This would figure against the high level of by-then-accumulated cosmological entropy, and regenerate the thermodynamic “free energy” of our cosmos, averting any cosmological “entropic doom”.

Subsequent, eventually-sufficient, “dilution” of “Matter” could trigger another such ‘cosmo-inflationary’ event, and so on, in an ever-expanding, ever-energetically-self-re-enriching and, thereby, thermodynamically self-regenerating cosmological ‘space-time-matter-energy contiguum’, mixed/hybrid «arithmos» of manifold qualitatively, ontologically different kinds of «monads» or units – perhaps, so unexpectedly, in a modern fulfillment of the ancient Pythagorean vision, with modifications.

It may, far in the future, take a technologically hyper-advanced civilization, of ‘metaⁿ-human[oid]s’, to survive such a universe-wide high-energy eucatastrophe, but we today may be among the ancestors of those who will one day wield the wherewithal to weather it.
