Dear Reader,
It
is my pleasure,
and my honor, as an elected member
of the Foundation Encyclopedia Dialectica [F.E.D.]
General Council, and
as a voting member of F.E.D., to share, with you, from time to time, as they are approved for public release by the F.E.D. General Council, Seldon’s commentaries on key Encyclopedia
Dialectica concepts of Seldonian Theory.
This 2nd text in
this new such
series is posted herewith, together with
supporting text-images and diagrams
[Some E.D.
standard edits have been applied, in the version presented below, by the editors
of the F.E.D. Special Council for the Encyclopedia,
to the direct transcript of our co-founder’s
discourse].
Seldon
–
“Consider the generic stage 8 ‘categorial combinatoric’ [proxy for the generic, undergirding ‘monadic-combinatoric’] dialectical categorial progression, in the NQ algebra,
using the simplest, the ‘Qualo-Peanic’, Dialectical Method:
a [+]
b [+] qba [+] g [+] qga [+] qgb [+] qgba [+] d.
It
sometime fits to interpret the “merely-hybrid” category qba as a [relative species] sub-category of [relative
«genos»] ‘self-hybrid’ category
b º qb.”
“Likewise, it sometimes fits to interpret “merely-hybrid” categories –
qga & qgb & qgba
– as more-determinate, more ‘thought-concrete [relative
species] sub-categories of more abstract, less-determinations-rich,
more general [relative «genos»] ‘self-hybrid’ category g º qg.”
“Even in cases of historical-dialectics
– not merely in cases of systematic-dialectics
– categorial progressions, e.g., qga [+] qgb [+] qgba, may
not work as a chronologically-ordered, ‘chronologically
ordinal’ sub-progression. They may, instead, fit as an all-together-at-once,
simultaneous, synchronic/-systematic/-taxonomic triad of dialectical sub-categories.”*
“In some cases, there may be additional sub-categories,
beyond, e.g., the three in standard ordinal positions fifth, sixth and seventh,
and also for some, or even all, of the other ordinal positions in this generic
progression – even for the eighth position, and beyond.”
“In such cases, including all of those, implicit, sub-categories explicitly in your ontological-categorial, categorial-progression, dialectical ‘meta-model’ may require recourse to even the 56th,
q_GBA,
arithmetic/algebra for modeling dialectics, in the,
NQ-expressed, dialectical ‘ideo-ontological’ categorial
progression/-axioms-systems
progression, long-form ‘meta-model’ of the Encyclopedia Dialectica arithmetics/algebras for modeling dialectics.”
“*[A case in point is the simplified, e.g., circulation
value-forms-only, systematic-dialectical categorial progression
model of the ‘content-structure’ of volumes I and II of Marx’s «Das
Kapital».”
“With categorogram K or qK representing the category
of circulation value-form ‘“Capital in General”’,
the excerpt –
K Å qKC Å qKM Å qKMC
–
may be fittingly interpreted as representing the «genos»-category
of ‘“Capital in General”’, followed by its three, circulation
value-form species sub-categories –
‘“Commodity-Kapitals”’,
plus
‘“Money-Kapitals”’,
plus
‘“Circulations of the Total Social
Kapital”’.”
“This sub-progression arises in the context of the
simplified, seven-category dialectical categorial progression model of the volumes
I and II «Das Kapital» tables of contents –
C Å M Å qMC Å K Å qKC Å qKM Å qKMC
– wherein the ‘merely-hybrid categorogram’
qMC
stands for the ‘“Monies-mediated circulations of Commodities”’ category.”
