The Chronological Organization of Nature.

It is my pleasure, and my honor, as an elected member of the Foundation Encyclopedia Dialectica [F.E.D.] General Council, and as a voting member of F.E.D., to share, with you, from time to time, as they are approved for public release by the F.E.D. General Council, key excerpts from the internal writings, and from the internal sayings, of our co-founder, Karl Seldon.

 

This 7th release of this new such series is posted below [Some E.D. standard edits have been applied, in the version presented below, by the editors of the F.E.D. Special Council for the Encyclopedia, to the direct transcript of our co-founder’s discourse].

 

 

 

Seldon – 

 

The ‘Cosmo-Ontological’ “Order of Appearances” [cf. Chardin] –

 

NOT «Logik» ---) …Å «Natur» ---) …Å «Geist».

 

 

Hegel thought that he needed three “spheres” to ‘“cover”’ our «Kosmos» -- «Logik», «Natur», and «Geist» [“Spirit”: i.e., Humanity], in his ‘‘‘systematic dialectic’’’ categorial progression ‘‘‘model’’’, “comprehending” our contemporary – broadly present -- Reality.

 

 

Today, we can see that we need not flank, bolster, and supplement «Natur», with «Logik» on its left, and «Geist» on its right.

 

 

We can simply follow, in forming our world view – in constructing our world model(s) – via a kind of ‘chrono-empiricism’ – the temporal order of «Natur»; the ‘chrono-logic’ of what follows [from] what in time; the order of appearances of «kosmo»-ontology, of the growing counts of ontological «kosmo-monads», the growing count of the categories by which we sort and group their kinds, to discover the systematic[-dialectical], ‘‘‘evolute’’’ ordering of our present, presently-known, presently-observable universe.

 

 

No one need make «Geist» – Humanity; Objective Spirit -- a realm radically dirempt from «Natur».

 

No need either for a separate «Logik» “sphere”.

 

Humanity appears – we appear -- late in what we know today of the cosmological, ontological, temporal order, the chronology of the 'arisal' of the known kinds of ontological units of our universe.

 

A ‘‘‘logic’’’ of «aufheben»-‘meta-unit-ization’ precedes, and, at length, gives rise to, the logic that inhabits the minds of social humans – a logic which Hegel abstracted and projected, in purified form, onto the mind of God.

 

Out of «Natur», in time, grows human-«Natur», and the Darwinian-processes-borne logics of human minds.
