The “Event Horizon Telescope” – A ‘Telescopic Systematic Dialectic’.

 

 

Dear Reader,

 

The “Event Horizon Telescope” -- “EHT” -- which has recently imaged the accretion disks, and the shadows, of the supermassive “black holes”, at the cores of our Milky Way galaxy, and of another galaxy, could only succeed at this imaging because it approximated, “virtually”, a telescope the size of the Earth.

 

It did so by way of an <<aufheben>> ‘meta-unit-ization’, constituting a ~synchronic dialectic at the level of units only, not at the more removed level of categories representing multitudes of such units.

 

Because it is units themselves that were involved in this ‘meta-unit-ization’, not categories-as-units, the elements in the ‘dialectogram’ below are presented with ‘double-caret’ marks above them, as per our standard notation.
