The MEANING of ‘Subscript Duality’ in the Seldonian First Algebra for Dialectics.
-- Part 6: Quoting
Seldon Series.
Dear Reader,
It
is my pleasure,
and my honor, as an elected member
of the Foundation Encyclopedia
Dialectica [F.E.D.] General Council, and as a voting member of F.E.D., to share, with you, from time to time, as they are approved for public release, by the F.E.D. General Council, key excerpts from the internal writings, and from the internal sayings, of our co-founder,
Karl Seldon.
This sixth release of
this new such
series is posted below
[Some E.D.
standard edits have been applied, in the version presented below, by the editors
of the F.E.D. Special Council for the Encyclopedia,
to the direct transcript of our co-founder’s
discourse].
In this 6th installment, Seldon discusses the meaning, and the perhaps
unexpected meaningfulness, of repeated-subscript, ‘self-hybrid’ dialectical-algebraic
category-symbols in the Encyclopedia Dialectica first algebra for dialectics.
Seldon –
“In our NQ arithmetic/algebra for dialectical modeling, the doubling, the
repetition, the repeated-occurrence of a subscripted category-quality-connoting
character – the duality of the connotational subscript of
an NQ symbol representing an ontological
category, for either a category-symbol of the ‘synchronic context’
[e.g., for systematic dialectics], or of the ‘diachronic context’
[e.g., for historical dialectics], signifies, systematically, the
key element of dialectical ‘qualo-fractal’ elevation, and, historically,
the key driver of dialectical progression: ‘the genesis of the antithesis ontos’,
or of ‘the <<arithmos>> of contra-category
<<monads>>’.”
“It
signifies the ‘self-meta-<<monad>>-ization’
of [some of] those <<monads>> that constitute[d] the
ontic <<arithmos>> -- the ontological category – which that
subscript, in its ‘undoubled’, singular occurrence,
connotes.”
“It
signifies the ‘self-subsumption’ and ‘self-internalization’
-- the combined, ‘self-pro-motion’-cum-self-de-motion’
[Hegel] -- of that ontic <<arithmos>> and of the <<monads>> that the single
subscript connotes.”
“For the ‘diachronic
context’, it signifies the resulting “primitive accumulation”/“original accumulation”
[Marx] of the <<monads>> of its successor ‘self-hybrid’ <<arithmos>>.”
“For the ‘synchronic
context’, the double-subscript algebraic unknown-to-be-solved-for,
signifies an already existing accumulation of the <<monads>>
of a ‘self-hybrid category’ <<arithmos>>, that, if solvable,
is present in the present that the systematic dialectic presents.”
