General Council, key excerpts from the internal writings, and from the internal sayings, of our co-founder, Karl Seldon.

“... The heart of this wisdom of dialectics -- as a better way of thinking than the way of capitalist, modern «dianoia» -- can be summarized quite succinctly.”

“Be suspicious of antithesis, of opposition, when it is portrayed as “absolute”, “eternal”, “irreconcilable” duality; as ‘‘‘Manichean’’’ opposition.”

“Expect that the opposite kind arose out of that which it now, “externally” opposes, or will oppose.”

“Expect that this opposite kind had its roots and seeds in the kind that it now opposes from without, as, originally, an “internal” opposition, an opposition acting within that original or earlier kind.”

“Expect, also, that opposing kinds have ‘‘‘hybridized’’’, or will eventually ‘‘‘hybridize’’’; that the opposing kinds will, at length, produce, or have already produced, a ‘‘‘complex unity’’’, or ‘‘‘synthesis’’’, perhaps one unnoticed by, or unimaginable to, those still in the throes of «dianoia».”
