Part 11: ‘Seldon on the Record’ Series.

It is my pleasure, and my honor, as an elected member of the Foundation Encyclopedia Dialectica [F.E.D.] General Council, and as a voting member of F.E.D., to share, with you, from time to time, as they are approved for public release by the F.E.D. General Council, key excerpts from the internal writings, and from the internal sayings, of our co-founder, Karl Seldon.

 

The eleventh release in this new such series is posted below [Some E.D. standard edits have been applied, in the version presented below, by the editors of the F.E.D. Special Council for the Encyclopedia, to the direct transcript of our co-founder’s discourse].

 

In this 11th installment, Seldon explains the ‘dialecticality’ of the F.E.D. _NQ-‘meta-numbers’-algebra-based ‘dialectical equations’.

 

Seldon –

“¿What’s so ‘‘‘dialectical’’’ about the F.E.D. _{N_}Q_-axioms-systems-based ‘dialectical equations’?”

 

“As we see it –”

 

“They equate unity and diversity.  The form/content of such, ‘‘‘dialectical’’’, equations is an equating between a Left-Hand Side [LHS] symbol for an ‘ultimate origin’ unitary category, or categorial unity -- but one ‘‘‘self-reflexively’’’ [nonlinearly] operated upon itself to some degree > 2 – and a RHS diversity.”

 

“The form/content of that diversity is an irreducible, heterogeneous ‘“sum”’ of symbols representing a qualitatively differing, ontologically-distinct ‘consecuum-cumulum’ of, often myriad, category-terms.”

 

“They involve oppositions and the resolution of each such opposition.  The RHS of such a ‘dialectical equation’ features a ‘‘‘heterogeneous sum’’’ and a ‘qualitative superpositioning’ of diverse category-symbols that signify mounting categorial qualitative ‘oppositenesses’, but also successive, progressing reconciliations as well as conservations of those oppositions.”

 

“They describe/predict ‘ontological revolutions’.  As ‘dialectical meta-equations’, i.e., as a sequence of qualitatively-different, but ‘ideo-meta-genealogically-connected’, “mere” dialectical equations, exhibiting ever-rising categorial determinateness, complexity, and thought-concreteness as that sequence advances, these equations describe ever-evolving, scale-escalating, but also helically-partially-recurring ‘metafinite singularities’, or ‘higher but always finite [self-]resonances’, which aptly describe ‘ontological revolutions’.”
