ANTI-“anti-physis”.
Dear Reader,
Ancient Greek philosophers
named Nature – including Nature as «Kosmos»; Nature as a whole – by
the word «physis», or «phusis».
Some ancient Greek
philosophers described “humanity”, including the physical plant of the
city-state, as «anti-physis»; as the “artificial”; as the “un-natural”.
Even in those ancient
times, some saw that humanity was an outgrowth of Nature, an extension of
Nature, hence also as “natural” – as part of Nature.
Since those ancient
times, it has become ever more clear that humanity is a predictable, Darwinian self-extension
of Nature, and not some alien in Nature; not, somehow,
some force from outside of Nature, somehow from “outside of the universe”, and destined
to destroy Nature, as the ‘Rocke-Nazi’, ‘humanocidal’ “eco”-ideologues would
imply.
Thus, the correct
formulation of the relationship of humanity to [the rest of] Nature is not
the radical diremption [‘ß|à’] –
Anti-physis ß|à Physis
– or the absolute
dualism [‘ß|à’] –
Artificial ß|à Natural
– or the “antinomy” –
Humanity ß|à Nature
– but, on the contrary,
is the dialectical «auto-aufheben», diachronic
process of/within NATURAL HISTORY –
Pre-Human Pre-Human
Pre-Human
Nature1 ® Nature2 |-= Nature ~Å~ Humanity
– & the synchronic,
systematic categorial relationship –
Human Nature ~Å~ Exo-Human Nature.
¡Enjoy!
