GLOBAL STRATEGIC HYPOTHESES.

It is my pleasure, and my honor, as an elected member of the Foundation Encyclopedia Dialectica [F.E.D.] General Council, and as a voting member of F.E.D., to share, with you, from time to time, as they are approved for public release by the F.E.D. General Council, Foundation discourses on key elements of Seldonian Psychohistorical Theory.

“The capitalist epoch phenomenon of the “World War” displays a key way in which Marx’s “Law of the Tendency of the Rate of Profit to Fall” shapes modern history.”

“This phenomenon is a manifestation of the difficulty, and the dialectic, of the expansion of the geographical core of industrial capitalism as the industrial capitalist mode of social reproduction spreads into, and recruits a new section of what had been the “hinterland” of the industrial capitalist system, into a new “semi-periphery” of that system, surrounding its ‘geo-core’.”

“The difficulty, and the historical dialectic, of the process of conversion of each new section of “semi-periphery” into the next new increment to/inside that ‘geo-core’, arises as each “semi-periphery” section threatens the old ‘geo-core’, that thus opposes it, with a new round of massive ‘techno-depreciation’ obliteration of its antiquated, legacy, obsolescent fixed capital, which must suddenly be written-off, subtracting from gross profits, collapsing ‘geo-core’ capitalist ruling class profitability, due to world-market price-competition against the commodity-products of that latest “semi-periphery” increment, armed with the latest, technologically-advanced, most productive vintages of fixed capital, combined with, initially, with the lowest wages costs, and thus able to profitably undersell the prices of the commodity-products of the old ‘geo-core’, given the lower unit-costs of that “semi-periphery’s commodity-products.”

“The capitalist ruling-class, oligarchic owners of the most ownership-concentrated masses of obsolescent fixed capital plant and equipment, competing so incompetently with the commodity-products of that latest increment of “semi-periphery”, are faced with the rapid obsolescence-driven devaluation and sudden “evaporation” of the accumulated fixed capital value that is the core of their socio-political power and privilege.”

“Rather than acquiesce in the loss of their global hegemony to the rising, “upstart” capitalist national ruling class(es) of that new increment of “semi-periphery”, the then ‘geo-core’ capitalists are only too willing to wage world market war against that new increment of “semi-periphery”, using their ‘geo-core’ national working classes as cannon fodder, with the aim of obliterating that semi-periphery’s industrial-capitalist productive forces, and exterminating its working-class population, so to drive it “back into the Stone Age”, i.e., back into the pre-capitalist “hinterland” from which it had so laboriously just arisen.”

“The sequence of the expansions of the industrial-capitalist ‘geo-core’ in modern history to-date can be summarized, is ‘geo-core vs. semi-periphery’ format, as follows –

0. [UK vs. US/France [US/French revolutions, Napoleonic proto-WW]] à

1. UK/France/US vs. Germany [WWI] à

2. UK/France/US vs. Germany/Italy/Japan [WWII] à…

3. [US/Canada/UK/Australia/EU vs. BRICS [WWIII]…]

– noting that opposition 0., the 13 colonies war of national liberation against British imperialism, aided by France, and the aftermath of the French Revolution in the Napoleonic Wars, primarily against the UK, involved a still pre-industrial-capitalist UK, a proto-US, and a proto-industrial-capitalist France, in wars confined to North America and Europe, not yet world-market-wide in geographical scope. Note also that opposition 3. is a possible future world market World War, not yet fully manifest as such, and, hopefully, still avertible.”

“Techno-depreciation of ruling class fixed capital core assets was not the issue in the anti-UK, anti-imperialist “revolutionary war” of the still pre-industrial, but already capitalist, 13 colonies against still pre-industrial, but already [mercantile-]capitalist “Great” Britain.”

“British imperialism sought to suppress the development of North American colonial productive forces in the UK’s pursuit of mercantile-capitalist commercial profits, outlawing the colonies from direct commerce with other nations, forcing the colonies to trade with those nations only through a monopoly of British-parasitic, mercantile “middle men”.”

“That British-imperialist “enfetterment” of colonial productive forces and commerce eventually provoked the 13 colonies’ American Revolutionary War against the UK “mother”[-f**ker] country, and the formation of the US.”

“Both WWI and WWII manifested the extreme difficulty, for especially the UK’s British Imperialism, of admitting the late-to-nation-state-hood, late-to-colonial-imperialism, but rapidly scientifically and technologically developing Germany into the industrial capitalist ‘geo-core’.”

“The British imperialist ruling class, aided by the incipient ‘Rocke-Nazi’ ruling class ruling faction in the U.S., especially via the Rocke-Nazis’ -- newly-“minted” -- “Federal Reserve”, printing the gargantuan pools of inflated dollar money to support the vast war loans to the UK and France, necessary to finance their first “World War” against Germany, contrived WWI, with the aim to crush Germany back into the pre-industrial “hinterland”.”

“Germany was industrially crippled, and driven into hyperinflation, by the exorbitant post-WWI reparations debt imposed upon it by the British imperialists and the US ‘Rocke-Nazis’, setting the stage for the German imperialist ruling class’s Nazi revenge in WWII.”

“Germany was joined, for WWII, in the “Axis” alliance with the also rapidly-industrializing, but late-to-nation-state-hood, and late-to-colonial-imperialism ruling classes of Italy and Japan, which the UK/US/France ‘geo-core’ were also blocking from admittance into that ‘geo-core’.”

“The ‘dialectogram’ diagram, posted atop this text, visualizes the scaled, ‘qualo-fractal’, historical-dialectical-helical trajectory of industrial capitalist, World-War-requiring ‘geo-core’ expansion, as a spiral course, rising vertically up out of the plane of its page.”

“In that ‘dialectogram’ diagram, the left-most diamond-box ontological category symbol represents the global pre-industrial-capitalist “hinterland”, the ‘exo-geo-core’, ‘exo-semi-periphery’ “countryside”, i.e., the capitalistically as-yet-undeveloped continental land/lake/river/-atmosphere “natural basis” [Marx] of human society, and the ultimate “periphery” of the industrial-capitalist ‘geo-core’.”

“The ‘middle-most’ diamond-box ontological category symbol represents the industrial-capitalist ‘geo-core’ itself, for each given level/scale in the helical, scaled, ‘qualo-fractal’, up-out-of-the-page progression of ‘geo-core’ expansions.”

“The right-most diamond-box ontological-category symbol represents the given level/scale of the ‘‘‘synthesis’’’ of the given level/scale of the ‘geo-core’ versus “periphery” antithesis, i.e., the ‘semi-periphery’, ‘‘‘sandwiched between’’’ ‘geo-core’ and ultimate “periphery”.”

“This “semi-periphery” is, for the given scale/level and stage in the sequence of ‘geo-core’ expansions, the place where ‘geo-core’ and “periphery” meet and mix; where they ‘‘‘hybridize’’’, and into which the ‘human-phenomic meta-meristem’ of industrial capitalist development is most-strongly diffusing into what was “hinterland”, in the part of the “hinterland” that most-proximately “borders” that stage of the ‘geo-core’ expansion.”

“In the next, World-War-mediated, expansion of the ‘geo-core’, that “semi-periphery” is integrated into the new stage of the ‘geo-core’, and the “periphery” shrinks, geographically, again, as a new part of the former “periphery” begins its conversion into the new/next “semi-periphery”, destined to be assimilated into the expanding ‘geo-core’ after the next World War.”

“The present conjuncture, in which the 5-nation-state BRICS alliance confronts the geo-core of US/Canada/UK/Australia/EU industrial-capitalist imperialism, might continue via a break in this pattern, as a ‘geo-core bipolarity’, i.e., as a global ‘dual geo-core’ rivalry, with an advanced-industrial-capitalist-imperialist BRICS+ ‘geo-core’, centered in China and India and, maybe, in Russia, confronting the older ‘geo-core’ of the US/Canada/UK/Australia/EU.”
