“Our phrase, naming what we predict will be the «arché»-category of ‘the dialectic of meta-humanity’, is:

 ‘The Self-Re-Engineering of the Human Genome’.”

 

“But why ‘SELF’-Re-Engineering?”

 

“What is the meaning of the prescript epithet “Self” in the context of our predicted ‘Re-Engineering of the Human Genome’?”

 

“Well, we mean, quite literally, albeit paradoxically, that the ‘‘‘re-engineering’’’ that we expect will be ‘‘‘caused’’’ by ‘‘‘action’’’ of the human genome itself.”

 

“But how can this possibly be so?”

 

“We mean that the human genome, formed in the Darwinian process, and, in its action, mediated through the ‘human phenome’ of the developing cultural, including technological, capabilities of genomic humanity, also made possible by the learning capabilities born in the human genome, i.e., which that genome “created”, or made likely, is, albeit, yes, ‘mediatedly’, re-engineering itself.”

 

“That genome, as an unconscious agency, but a causal agent nonetheless, is re-engineering itself, through the needs and desires that the Darwinian process built into humanity, with humanity predicted to act to rid itself of its ‘Darwinian Defects’.”

 

“In that same process, that special Darwinian genome has made possible a ‘Meta-Darwinian, trans-genomic Process’, now that practical knowledge [‘sapience’] has become so crucial to expanded human-social reproduction, and thus to the Darwinian fitness, or sustained reproduction-rate, of the genomic human species.”

 

“This self-re-engineering of the human genome is now on the verge of advancing to the ‘Meta-Darwinian Super-Fitness’ of all three ‘irruptant’ species of a ‘Meta-Humanity’ – namely, ‘reengineered-genome meta-humans’, ‘AI android robot meta-humans’, and their dialectical-categorial synthesis, ‘AI cyborg meta-humans’ – spreading its burgeoning population(s) into our Solar System, and beyond.”

 

“The ‘Darwinian Defects’ of the genomic human species, per our ‘immanent critique of the human body’, include the fact that the Darwinian-genomic protections of individual human health and longevity largely expire after the average age of offspring – the average age of human biological reproduction – which is the age by which the parents’ genes, carrying all of their ‘Darwinian Defects’, have passed on into the human gene pool, sustainedly-so if their offspring survive to themselves reproduce.”

 

“The male parent could die the day after conception; the female parent could die the moment after giving live birth, and their ‘Darwinianly-Defective’ genes would have already passed into the next human-genomic generation, leaving those health and longevity protections unadvanced; still expiring so early.  Some partial reprieve from this fate is induced by the enhanced likelihood of offspring survival, prosperity, and reproductive fecundity, if their grandparents survive at least into the early years of life of those offspring.”

 

“The human genome is not a conscious, volitional eventity, but it is a causal eventity.  As such, it exhibits agency, as a ‘pre-[human-]subject’, or ‘proto-subject’: not will-enabled agency, but causal agency nonetheless.”
