On a Pictorial Paradigm used in Our ‘Dialectograms’.

On a Pictorial Paradigm used in Our Dialectograms.

Dear Readers,

In many of our E.D. dialectograms, the represented, depicted, standard E.D. ordinal color-coded, Chinese-box-like containment of older, or earlier-presented,  category/«arithmos»-symbolizing graphical enclosures, inside other, newer, or later-presented, category/«arithmos»-symbolizing graphical enclosures, is meant as metaphoric, not as literal.

That is, it is used as a ‘geometrical metaphor’, and as a pictorial proxy’, for the actual «aufheben»- ‘‘‘containment’’’ -- the «aufheben» transformation-conservation-elevation -- of multiple units / monads of, e.g., a given self-hybrid predecessor category/«arithmos», actually inside each unit / monad of its successor self-hybrid category/«arithmos».

This actual inside-ness may be physical, or it may be conceptual.

I have appended, below, several examples of key E.D. dialectogramsin which this ‘geometrical metaphor’ is applied.
