We call this historic breakthrough within the long history of dialectic ‘The Seldonian Dialectic’. 

 

Seldon himself would prefer that we not apply his name to this breakthrough, as he does not want implied any “arrogant” claim that this achievement is his alone, and would prefer that we name it simply ‘The F.E.D. Dialectic’.

 

However, on this one matter, Seldon has been outvoted in the F.E.D. General Council.
